It is kind of weird to say that the “Locals’n’Nomads” meetup has been steadily going on for two years already, but it sure is true. And now we feel old(er)! 😀
Month after month we managed to get together and enjoy ourselves and that sure is something to celebrate!
Throughout the “Locals’n’Nomads” meetups that Split Tech City has organized so far, we not only provided the locals and digital nomads with a place and time to meet and connect, but we also supported a charitable effort, explored Split, learned a word or two of Croatian, had a hackathon-worthy fun with Hack4Split, and prepared for Sudamja (Split’s biggest celebration), presented a really cool app that aims to revolutionize volunteering, and so much more!
Considering all this, we know you are probably wondering how we’re going to celebrate this special occasion.
Well, the best way we know how – with another collaboration! 😉
We are joining forces with the Student Business Incubator and their fantastic STup! international university startup competition that is happening this year as part of the University Green Digital HUB project.
By organizing a get-together that will mix innovation, startups, and passion for entrepreneurship we hope this little collaborative party will set the right vibe for the fabulousness of this year’s STup! competition that will take place on June 30th and July 1st.
This “Locals’n’Nomads” will happen next Thursday, June 29th, at Re.Split coworking space. Our start time is 19:00 and you should sign up to secure your spot on time!
And that’s all we’re going to share with you because we want the meetup contents to remain a pleasant surprise for all. One thing’s for sure – the original idea behind “Locals’n’Nomads” is to create connections.
That hasn’t changed since meetup number one! And it won’t change now. So, we invite you all – from digital nomads and locals to students, startup enthusiasts, and startup-curious, as well as all others – to come to the meetup and celebrate with us!
Celebrate connections, innovations, and the bright future our community is building for Split!
