Locals’n’Nomads meetup: the lucky 13th!

20.07.2022.

Who says the number 13 is unlucky?! We certainly don’t think so and we had the atmosphere from last night’s 13th “Locals’n’Nomads” meetup to prove it. 😀

After meeting at The Republic Square, we strolled the West Coast waterfront together to reach our destination: Split Park Festival.

A new thing in town that uses the relaxed summer vibe well by combining fun music and entertainment with interesting food and drinks under the open sky.

Therefore, we enjoyed this relaxed and fun summertime “Locals’n’Nomads” a lot!

Of course, with a group as varied as the one we had last night, the engaging conversation was inevitable. 🙂

From locals to digital nomads, high school students to industry professionals, individuals with Croatian heritage to those visiting Split for the first time, a variety of different stories were told and connections made.

That’s always been the idea behind “Locals’n’Nomads” – a meetup where everyone is welcome and anyone has something to contribute!

We’re happy we had the chance to gather you all together once more! 😀

Thanks to everyone who joined us at the lucky 13thLocals’n’Nomads”! See you at the next one in August! 😉

Researching is woven into my DNA, but I am a musician at heart. Interested in too many things and always curious. Forever in love with Split and enchanted by people who teach me new things. When I am not creating content about Split's tech community, you will find me in singing rehearsals, somewhere in nature, in the theater, or with my head stuck in a book. I do my best to live by the verse from the opera "Fedora" by Umberto Giordano: "Love forbids you not to love."
