Locals’n’Nomads: chatting about digital nomad visa (and other things)

First of all, a big “Thank you!” to all the courageous souls who braved yesterday’s downpour to make it to this month’s “Locals’n’Nomads” meetup at D16 Coffee. We appreciate it! 🙂

Secondly – you really took that “let’s discuss the digital nomad visa” suggestion from the meetup announcement literally, did you?! We absolutely don’t mind!

Actually, we love helping out with information – that’s the whole point of “Locals’n’Nomads”. 😀

Aside from the bureaucratic topic of the famous visa, some of its tips and tricks, and its application process, we also touched upon some curiosities about life in Split, as well as its startup ecosystem and tech community in general.

Quite an interesting discussion, all in all! 🙂

All of this gave us more than a few ideas for the future “Locals’n’Nomads” meetups. You know – the ones we hinted at already (if you’ve read the announcement carefully enough).

Looking forward to seeing you at the next “Locals’n’Nomads” in February!

Rain or shine – we’ll be there! 😉

Researching is woven into my DNA, but I am a musician at heart. Interested in too many things and always curious. Forever in love with Split and enchanted by people who teach me new things. When I am not creating content about Split's tech community, you will find me in singing rehearsals, somewhere in nature, in the theater, or with my head stuck in a book. I do my best to live by the verse from the opera "Fedora" by Umberto Giordano: "Love forbids you not to love."
