A vibrant springtime Locals’n’Nomads meetup!

24.03.2023.

We had such a great time at D16 Coffee on Wednesday evening! But this Locals’n’Nomads” magic is nothing new, we’d say.

That’s why organizing this meetup is always worth it – you never know what will happen and what kinds of connections will be forged. 🙂

After all, the young organizers of the upcoming NEXT Youth Conference started their Split Tech City journey at one of the “Locals’n’Nomads” meetups.

The same beginnings happened to Piero and the kids from Jedna Mladost. So – who knows what this and the upcoming meetups will bring in the future!?

Actually, we do know – participants of the Hack4Split hackathon! 😀

Josip stopped by to hang out with us and promote this fabulous event, so quite a few attendees of Wednesday’s meetup happily signed up for Hack4Split.

It’s that magic of the “Locals’n’Nomads” networking we mentioned! 😉

Aside from our favorite hackathon, many other different topics were discussed among the attendees.

It seemed like they all managed to find something in common with one another, even though they come from different countries, are of different ages, and work or are interested in different professions.

It makes us happy to see that “Locals’n’Nomads” continues to be the meetup that successfully matches the seemingly mismatched!

That’s why we hope to see you at its next edition in April – all are welcome and none should miss it! 😀

Researching is woven into my DNA, but I am a musician at heart. Interested in too many things and always curious. Forever in love with Split and enchanted by people who teach me new things. When I am not creating content about Split's tech community, you will find me in singing rehearsals, somewhere in nature, in the theater, or with my head stuck in a book. I do my best to live by the verse from the opera "Fedora" by Umberto Giordano: "Love forbids you not to love."
