Great news from our friends at the Student Business Incubator! 😀

The University of Split with the Faculty of Economics, and together with partner institutions – University of Malaga (Spain), Hochschule der Medien (Germany), Impact Hub Stuttgart (Germany), Entrepreneurial Center Split, and Preneurz.Amsterdam (Netherlands) – is implementing a project called “University Green Digital HUB“.

The project’s primary goals are to strengthen the digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills of students, university startups, and university employees, as well as to empower institutions of higher education in the field of teaching knowledge and skills required for the digital and green transition.

Faced with the challenges of the green and digital transition, as well as the accelerated changes in the labor market, the partners will work through the “University Green Digital HUB” project to transform higher education institutions in order to improve their compliance with the economic environment and provide the necessary education and skills to their users.

Through the “University Green Digital HUB” project, a series of activities will be carried out:

  • the development of a training program in the field of digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills
  • the development of a framework for digital and green transition based on the analysis of the aforementioned skills
  • the implementation of a pilot program
  • the development of a support program for startups in the field of green and digital innovations

The main results that the “University Green Digital HUB” project aims to achieve are:

  • development and implementation of an educational program for target groups in the field of digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills
  • development and implementation of “DGE Knowledge Factory” – a web platform for e-learning and knowledge exchange in the specified areas
  • development and implementation of the “Greenpreneur” startup program for university startups operating in the field of digital and green transformation

It is important to emphasize that all students who participate in the “University Green Digital HUB” will have the opportunity to receive Europass digital credentials or a supplementary document (diploma supplement) for the recognition of their acquired knowledge and skills.

The “University Green Digital HUB” project was officially initiated with a transnational meeting of project partners held on October 27th and 28th in Split.

The overall duration of the “University Green Digital HUB” project is 24 months, and it is co-financed with funds from the Erasmus+ programKey Activity 2: Partnerships for cooperation for the field of higher education.

We wish a lot of success to everyone collaborating on this project and are looking forward to all the outstanding results they’re sure to deliver! 🙂
