So, mark your calendars – on March 25th NEXT is coming to town! 😀

But, what exactly is NEXT you might ask? Who is it for? What’s its purpose? Well, read on!

What is NEXT?

NEXT is imagined as a day dedicated to youth and organized by youth. It is a conference-style event that will offer interesting lectures and an engaging panel discussion on a variety of topics: entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, design, and personal development, as well as crossovers between modern tech and other sectors.

In essence, there will be something for everyone at NEXT! 🙂

Why NEXT?

Because we at Split Tech City consider young people to be very important for our city and for the future of our tech community. That’s why we want to engage young people as soon as possible.

NEXT is a perfect example of that as the majority of its organization is being handled by three young high school students who are Split Tech City’s volunteers – Karlo Marasović, Timea Podrug, and Lana Todorovski.

NEXT is made for the next generation and organized by the next generation! 😉

Where and when is NEXT taking place?

Where could an event like this take place but at Dom mladih, right?! Our goal is to fill up the Amphitheater of Dom mladih with young people – from high school students to university students – for a day and have them leave NEXT inspired.

We chose Saturday, March 25th as the best day for NEXT because we don’t want you to miss any classes, but we also don’t want you to miss NEXT.

Will you join us at the Amphitheater of Dom mladih on Saturday, March 25th? Of course, you will! 😀

What to expect at NEXT?

The plan is to spend some quality time together at NEXT from 10:00 until 14:30. We will have two lectures during the morning session, followed by a panel discussion. After that, it will be the time for some hanging out together over pizza and drinks – a time to get to know each other and fuel up for the rest of the program.

This break will be followed by two lectures in the afternoon. The details about the lectures and panel discussion will be announced on Split Tech City’s website and social media in the upcoming month.

NEXT will wrap up after the program ends, but we’ll make sure you don’t actually want to go home! 😉

Who is NEXT for?

Everyone aged 13 and up who feels young and is up for being inspired and learning new things about a variety of topics.

The target audience of NEXT is high school students, but we won’t refuse entry to elementary school students who are already interested in topics covered by NEXT, nor will our door be closed to university students who want to attend, too.

NEXT is free to attend, all you need to do is sign up via the registration form!
