On Saturday, March 25th, the NEXT stage at the Amphitheater of Dom mladih will welcome Željka Radnić.
Željka is a member of the Croatian Chamber of Psychotherapists and a certified Wingwave coach. After graduating from the Faculty of Philosophy and gaining experience by volunteering at a children’s home, she was employed at a school and then continued her education as a psychotherapist.
Today, at Centar Mezzo, through individual counseling and psychotherapy, she provides support to individuals on their path of development. Željka enjoys learning and believes that each one of us has all the resources to realize our own potential.
At NEXT, Željka will deliver a lecture focused on the influence social networks have on young people titled: “Young Minds and Social Networks”
Children and young people today spend a lot of time interacting with their phones. Social networks, video games, apps, and other digital content are carefully designed to keep us coming back to them. They, directly and indirectly, form our attitudes and impose their ideals on us as the only correct ones.
Feelings triggered by likes on social networks temporarily alleviate the feeling of loneliness, but what do we do when it starts to affect our behavior and thoughts? What remains when we turn off social networks?
Put your phone away and – come and find out at NEXT!
We’re waiting for you at the Amphitheater of Dom mladih on Saturday, March 25th! 😀
