The work Split Tech City does often promotes a different vision of Split – a lively city year-round, where tourism isn’t the end-all but is intertwined with tech and other industries.
We see Split as a Mediterranean Tech Hub and are actively contributing to this vision with everything we do: from the Split Tech City Festival to Split Tech City Podcast and everything in between.
The Split Tech City Podcast has one main goal: to showcase the international side of Split.
We do this by interviewing internationals who moved here and have an interesting and inspiring story to share.
When we initiated this podcast series of interviews with internationals, we only wanted to share their stories and let those stories highlight the benefits of life in Split in particular and Croatia in general.
As reasons behind choosing Split, many of our interviewees often mentioned the overall quality of life here.
This can be summarized by the benefits offered by the living environment, the beauty of the natural environment, the work-life balance brought by our Mediterranean lifestyle, the safety people can feel once they come here, and the local people who are welcoming and easily build a sense of community with the newcomers as well.
