The eleventh edition of the “Locals’n’Nomads” meetup will once more take on a cultural vibe. The last time we did this, nomads were taken on an adventure called #CrashCourseCroatian. With a little help from us locals, of course! 🙂

This time we have another “sort of crash course” in the works. It will be the hang-out where you can get all the answers to the following questions:

• What is Sudamja?
• Why is this a big deal in Split?
• What happens on May 7th?
• What is tombola?
• What’s the deal with wooden spoons?
• What is that weird clapping noise I can hear throughout the city?

…and any others you might have. 😀

This #SplitLifestyle “Locals’n’Nomads” will happen next Monday, May 2nd.

We will start our meetup at Peristyle – the main square of the Diocletian’s Palace – by meeting next to the Sphinx at 5 PM.

Once everyone arrives, we’ll take a short walk through the city center and visit the most important locations of the celebrations that will happen on May 7th. After our walk, we will settle down at Marvlvs Library Jazz Bar from 18:00 onwards to enjoy a few drinks in good company.

Whoever cannot make it at 17:00 is welcome to find their way to Marvlvs from 18:00 – you’ll find us there.

In case of rain – which does sometimes happen here in Split – we’ll sadly skip the walk and meet directly at Marvlvs at 18:00. Unless you’d prefer a rainy walk. We don’t mind those, to be honest. They do have their charm. 😉
