Last week we completed the announcements for this year’s Split Tech City Festival main stage program. So you’re already very familiar with all who will step on the stage of Bačvice Open-Air Cinema on September 7 during this year’s #STCFestival International Day. 🙂

However, September 7 isn’t reserved only for the main stage program – the #SplitTechCityFestival pre-program is in a league of its own! 😀

Set in a Mediterranean pine forest overlooking the Bačvice Bay and the island of Brač, the pre-program is always a hit. It represents the true vibes of our #MediterraneanTechHub!

This year’s pre-program during the #InternationalDay is brought to you in collaboration with a variety of innovative organizations that are members, partners, and/or supporters of the Split Tech City community.

Allowing us to spread that fabulous #SplitTechCityFestival vibe beyond just Split! 😉

The pre-program segment we’re announcing today is brought to you by Silicon Castles. This Tech Company Builder and Strategic Business Accelerator for technology startups with a focus on intellectual property (IP) licensing businesses is located in Salzburg, Austria but has also been a big part of Split’s tech ecosystem for several years now.

The Silicon Castles team works on developing European Diamonds: tech startups with unique business ideas, scalable technology, and outstanding intellectual property – three things they consider key to achieving global success. Aside from focusing on developing European Diamonds, Silicon Castles also invests in early-stage startups with a great team, a promising idea, and innovative technology.

To the pre-program of this year’s Split Tech City Festival the Silicon Castles team is bringing an engaging panel discussion titled: “AI Beyond ChatGPT”.

The discussion will focus on AI beyond the first thing that comes into our mind when someone mentions artificial intelligence – that is the (in)famous ChatGPT. How can we use AI to improve business processes, human creativity, or our lives? What does AI offer beyond ChatGPT and how can we use it to benefit us?

The panelists for this particular Split Tech City Festival pre-program panel discussion will be:

  • Konstantin Mirin – Konstantin is an AI expert and CEO of Postindustria – a tech incubator in areas of AdTech, AI, ML, AR & Healthcare innovations. He has diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Konstantin started his career as a PHP Developer. In 2010 he joined Postindustria as a Technical Project Manager, eventually becoming the CEO of Postindustria in September 2016.
  • Vitalii Yehorov – Vitalii is a seasoned IT specialist from Ukraine who founded Red Leg to up-level lead generation and advanced sales for B2B customers. Red Leg is different from your typical lead generation agency. Red Leg aims to be a trusted strategic ally for its customers by blending innovative AI marketing tools with personalized human interactions.

This interesting panel discussion with insights into AI beyond what we’re used to will be moderated by Andreas Spechtler, the founder and CEO of Silicon Castles.

We’re sure there’ll be lots of valuable points shared by all the panelists and you wouldn’t want to miss out on being there in person. 😀

So, get your Festival ticket and we’ll see you on September 7 in the fantastic venue of Bačvice Open-Air Cinema!

Researching is woven into my DNA, but I am a musician at heart. Interested in too many things and always curious. Forever in love with Split and enchanted by people who teach me new things. When I am not creating content about Split's tech community, you will find me in singing rehearsals, somewhere in nature, in the theater, or with my head stuck in a book. I do my best to live by the verse from the opera "Fedora" by Umberto Giordano: "Love forbids you not to love."
