After its first announcement in June, throughout July we have been uncovering the details of this year’s Split Tech City Festival main stage program of the International Day taking place on September 7.

The tickets are already being sold, with many of you getting yours even before a single program announcement!

We really appreciate that kind of support! We also try to show our appreciation in many ways: from keeping the prices the same as last year, over tailoring the program to the desires of our community, to offers such as Early Bird tickets and special discounts for students.

Hopefully, we’ll see you at this year’s International Day and you’ll get to have a great and inspiring time!

Here’s what you can expect on the main stage of Bačvice Open-Air Cinema on September 7.

Split Tech City Festival Speaker: Matthias Röder

Dr. Matthias Röder is an award-winning music-tech visionary and director of the Beethoven AI Project. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at The Mindshift, a consultancy on creative leadership and innovation strategy.

Matthias also currently serves as a board member of the Karajan Foundation and is the Managing Director of the Eliette and Herbert von Karajan Institute. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the Mozarteum Foundation.

So far we didn’t have musicians at the Split Tech City Festival, and we thought it was a fine time for someone from the music and tech industry to grace the Bačvice Open-Air Cinema stage during International Day.

The lecture Matthias will give is titled “Unleashing Creativity: How AI is Rocking the Music World”.

It will be a 20-minute dive into the exciting world of creativity and AI: exploring what creativity really means and how AI can supercharge our creative juices. Matthias will show you the cool ways in which artists are using AI – from composing original pieces and generating new sounds to enhancing live performances and creating immersive experiences.

So, get ready for a fun and insightful look at the future of music and creativity in the age of AI!

Split Tech City Festival Speaker: David Jakic

David’s journey in business began as an entrepreneur, a path that accelerated his learning and growth in ways few experience. Today, as the Director of APAC for a global marketing and events agency and the CEO of a worldwide software company, David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

About author:

Nikolina Kukoč

Researching is woven into my DNA, but I am a musician at heart. Interested in too many things and always curious. Forever in love with Split and enchanted by people who teach me new things. When I am not creating content about Split's tech community, you will find me in singing rehearsals, somewhere in nature, in the theater, or with my head stuck in a book. I do my best to live by the verse from the opera "Fedora" by Umberto Giordano: "Love forbids you not to love."
