As summer began, the number of tech events in Split has declined slightly. In the summer months it is quite to be expected. However, there are teams that will give us excellent lectures throughout July. Thanks to them, this month you will be able to enjoy a few professional lecturers and interesting lectures, and to gain the opportunity to meet new people and networking. Tinel Meetup, ML/AI Meetup, Mobile Monday Meetup and OpenCoffee Meetup have been announced.
Tinel team has celebrated their first birthday last month, and they prepared us a real treat for July. This month they are planning a lecture and workshop. Guest at the Tinel Meetup is Vitaly Friedman. His talk, The Dark Corners of eCommerce will take place onthe 12th of July and it will be focused mostly on the user’s experience and behaviour while they buy things online. Vitaly will cover some design patterns, checklists, strategies and interface design techniques to increase conversion rate and increase sales.
That’s not all, actually. It’s not just that you’ll be able to check this great talk out on Thursday – it will be followed with Responsive Interface Design Workshop on Saturday, July 14th. If you are a web developer that creates eCommerce and Web solutions, this is a guy that you want to learn from. You can find all info on the workshop page.
Vitaly is the guest that Tinel team have been trying to bring for months. So, clear out your schedule on the 12th of July and we’ll see you at 7 pm at Locastic HQ.
The second ML/AI Meetup is scheduled for July 13, at 6 pm at PISC@FESB, Pre-Incubation IT Center of Split-Dalmatia County at FESB, which opens its doors within the ICT County project. The ICT County is also the organizer of this Meetup, devoted to machine learning and artificial intelligence. More details on the subject will be available soon, and you can follow all about the ML/AI Meetup here.
