This year’s STup! competition is getting closer. During the second edition of STup! – international university startup competition – Split is once again the global stage for university startups and entrepreneurship.

The organizers from the Faculty of Economics’ Student Business Incubator have truly been hard at work to bring this event to fruition this year. Following their vision and mission by continuing to encourage entrepreneurial awareness and skills among young people, the Student Business Incubator at the Faculty of Economics in Split, supported by the City of Split, University of Split, SEA-EU, and WorldChicago, organizes the second edition of the international university startup competition STup!2021.

Although the situation we all found ourselves in last year has prevented the competition from taking place, this year STup! is coming back on June 18th and 19th in a hybrid form – by combining on-site events at the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Tourism and online participation via a virtual platform.

The program spans two days, 18th and 19th June, and its schedule is packed with competition-related activities, interesting lectures, as well as possibilities for networking.

This year’s panel of judges and speakers gathered numerous experts in the world of startups, and particularly student startups, which gives great opportunities to all the participants to, not only network and meet possible future investors, but also be inspired for this and any future ventures.

As the name of the competition suggests, STup! brings the important things to the forefront: students, startups, and Split.
This event aims to enable competitors and visitors to connect, improve the entrepreneurial culture among students, and exchange ideas and experiences at the international level. During the two days of the event taking place, the city of Split will be a stage of innovation, new technologies, and ideas, with which university projects will try to secure the attention of renowned experts, potential clients, and investors.

As in its last edition, STup! will gather together both local and international startups, entrepreneurs, representatives of incubators, accelerators, companies, and investors. Therefore, in addition to competitors, investors and accelerators will also present their programs aimed at young innovators and startups.
