The time has come for us to offer a startup-themed event, don’t you think?! This was, of course, inevitable considering how much growth Split’s startup ecosystem has been going through in recent years.
We still have a long way to go toward becoming the Mediterranean Tech Hub we aspire to be. 😉
But that just means we have to continue doing what we love which for us means helping out our local tech community in any way we can.
That’s why we got together with the fabulous and hardworking team from the Student Business Incubator – you know, the very active local ecosystem player that stands behind startup competitions such as STup! and Get In The Ring.
And, after a few brainstorming sessions on how to give something of value to the local startup community, came up with this little idea: Split Startups Meetup.
Naturally, getting you all together for some networking combined with an exchange of ideas and experiences seemed like a good way to continue building Split’s startup ecosystem.
You might be curious about many things, so let us ease that curiosity about Split Startups Meetup!
For this first year, our plan is to host this meetup once per quarter. Aside from the always amazing networking, every Split Startups Meetup will bring an opportunity to hear an interesting lecture and an engaging panel discussion – all with a topic related to startups.
That is one of the reasons why we will always ask for your feedback at the Split Startups Meetup, so don’t think you will go unnoticed and without a chance to make your voice heard.
As far as the audience is concerned – everyone is welcome!
That’s it, for now. We know we offered just a brief introduction of the Split Startups Meetup, more of a teaser, to be honest.
However, we’re excited about this new event and are already working hard on realizing its first edition in February, so we wanted to let you know it’s happening. And that’s why we won’t accept excuses for missing it. 😀
