Culture Hub Croatia invites you to join them for their Rural Hacking free workshop! 😀

The workshop will take place next Tuesday (April 2) from 18:00 to 20:00 at PROSTOR (Plančićeva ulica 2).

As we’ve mentioned, the workshop is free and all you need to do if you’re interested in attending is to save your seat by emailing info@culturehubcroatia.hr with the subject “Rural Hacking”.

The Rural Hacking workshop is supported by the European Creative Hubs Network through the P2P Learning program and will be led by Africa Rodriguez and Agustin Jamardo Chenlo, Culture Hub Croatia guests from Galicia (Spain).

The workshop is designed as a world café format to understand how to implement rural projects in the context of Croatia and build bridges with urban areas through innovation and creativity. Each group of Rural Hacking workshop attendees will address specific topics and share their findings in a discussion afterward.

The workshop will be followed by a presentation of a coworking project in Pontevedra – the Arroelo coworking – and Anceu co-living in a small village of rural Galicia. Both of these projects are truly inspirational because of their focus on making a positive local impact.

The Rural Hacking workshop is not only an opportunity to learn from these two projects but also to discover ways to participate in their initiatives, either as a volunteer or a resident.

To wrap the event up, the Culture Hub Croatia team prepared the well-deserved after-workshop drinks for all! 😉

So, if you:

  • are very well aware of all the benefits of living in the countryside but you are not exactly sure if there is something for you outside the city borders
  • want to help revive your village and your heritage but don’t know where to start
  • have an idea or a project you want to develop but need guidance from experienced mentors
  • work remotely and want to experience rural living, be in touch with nature, and help revitalize local communities
  • are an artist and want to explore your artistic vision in rural surroundings
  • or simply want to learn more about what co-living is

…then you might just be the next rural hacker and you should definitely join the Rural Hacking workshop! 😀
