Ante Projić, DevOps Technical Lead Engineer, revealed more about their work, values, and joining Split Tech City.
Hrvatski Telekom bears the epithet of one of the strongest economic entities in the country and is among the key drivers of the development of the Croatian economy, and their slogan is:

“A little more than 20 years ago, we started with landline phones and services. Today, we continue to work on telephone services, but also on robotics, applications, smart systems, and everything digital.
Our focus is ICT (information and telecommunication technologies) and IoT (everything that can be connected to the Internet).
If you’re following these sectors, there’s a good chance that some new ICT or IoT technology you see applied here in Croatia came from our workshop,” Ante laughs, proudly talking about Hrvatski Telekom.
Their vision is to achieve sustainable and profitable company growth by connecting everyone in Croatia with the opportunities provided by digitalization and thus enabling people to improve their lives.
Hrvatski Telekom has 4,500 employees and offices in all major Croatian cities. The Smartwork way of working they adapted combines work from the office and from home, so employee satisfaction is inevitable!
They have offices in several locations in Split, and most of the employees are in the locations in Vinkovačka and Vukovarska streets.
“The job roles that you can find in our Split offices are various – there are our T-Centers, Sales Support, Technicians, Field Salesmen, Business Sales Managers, there is the IT department, the DevOps team, many network engineers,” says Ante.
Regarding the values they foster in the company and the expectations they have of employees, Ante points out:
“Culture is who we are, the way we work. It is not important when or where our employees work, it is important that their work has a purpose.
