The regional tech scene has gained another successful entrepreneurial story. Caelor, a company known for developing apps for the Atlassian ecosystem, has officially become part of Vectors, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the company.
Founded in 2021 with a clear vision, Caelor set out to build products that help Jira and Confluence users collaborate more easily, improve content organization, and simplify business processes. We celebrate every success, but we are especially proud when it comes from a member of the Split Tech City community.
What started as a small team with a single app has grown into an internationally recognized story within the Atlassian community.
Following the acquisition, Marin Varvodić shared a statement with us, emphasizing that the company’s greatest success is not only its products or business achievements, but the people who have been part of the journey from the very beginning.
“Caelor started in 2021 with a small team, one app, and the idea of making Atlassian products better and simpler for users. Today, that story enters a new chapter through this acquisition, but my greatest success is not just the products or the numbers. The greatest success is that the developers I started with in 2021 are still with us today. Together, we grew, learned, went through both great and difficult moments, and built something we can truly be proud of.” – said Varvodić.
The company says that joining forces with Vectors represents an opportunity for further growth and product development, as well as a stronger position within the Atlassian ecosystem. They especially highlight that both companies share a similar vision when it comes to building high-quality products and maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
As part of the transition, Marin Varvodić is taking on the role of General Manager while remaining actively involved in product development and the company’s future growth.
This acquisition is yet another example of how regional tech companies can build globally relevant products while still preserving what matters most: a strong team and a clear vision.
