The fourth edition of the international university startup competition STup! is approaching fast as the competition will take place at the Faculty of Economics on June 30th and July 1st.
In addition to the 4th edition of STup!, this year also brings us a training program titled “Development of digital and green business models” which is being organized for green and digitally oriented startups.
The training program, as well as this year’s STup!, are part of the University Green Digital HUB project.
It is noteworthy that this project brings together three universities – the University of Split, the University of Malaga, and the University of Stuttgart – and three partner organizations from Croatia, Germany, and the Netherlands – Entrepreneurship Center Split, Impact HUB Stuttgart, and Preneurz.Amsterdam.
The University Green Digital HUB training program actually takes place in two parts. The participants already had the opportunity to participate in virtual lectures held by the project partners, during which all of them got to know each other, worked together on their ideas, and prepared for the intensive in-person training program in Split.
Throughout these virtual lectures, the participants covered the following topics guided by expert lecturers in the field:
And now the time has come for the second part of the training program taking place in Split!
This week, all students who are part of the programs organized by the University Green Digital HUB project are spending their time in Split developing and preparing their projects for presentation at the international university startup competition STup!2023.
Throughout their week in Split, they will take part in various lectures and workshops held by industry experts and lecturers from the Universities of Split, Malaga, Stuttgart, and Brest, while the week will be wrapped up with their participation at STup! competition.
That’s when we will find out which team will take the title of “Best University Startup 2023”!
The program of the University Green Digital HUB project aims to strengthen initiatives and skills directed at innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development among students. In addition, all University Green Digital HUB program activities encourage the participation of young people in the community encouraging them to act as active citizens and promoting the development of green-oriented student entrepreneurial ideas.
The main goal of the University Green Digital HUB project is to strengthen the digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills of students, university startups, and university employees, as well as to improve the capacity of higher education institutions in the field of teaching for the digital and green transition.
The overall duration of the University Green Digital HUB project is 24 months, and it is co-financed with funds from the Erasmus+ program – Key Activity 2: Partnerships for cooperation for the field of higher education.
We wish all the participants good luck and are looking forward to this year’s STup! competition and seeing what innovative solutions they will come up with! 😀
