While we’re waiting for the next “Locals’n’Nomads” meetup that will initiate our activities in May, let us bring you up to speed with another nomadic event that is happening next month. This one is on a worldwide scale and will last an entire week.

Of course, we’re talking about Nomadbase! 🙂

Those who follow the digital nomad story in Croatia are already familiar with the arrival of Nomadbase to Croatia as it was officially announced at the beginning of February this year.

And proving once more that Mediterranean and tech go together well, they have chosen Primošten as their Croatian destination.

So, you might wonder why this is such a big deal? Because, just a year and a few months after setting up its digital nomad residence permit and realizing the potential that welcoming digital nomads brings, Croatia will host one of the digital nomad communities well-known worldwide.

If that isn’t a big deal, we don’t know what is.

Of course, none of it would have been possible without the ambassadors of the digital nomad movement in Croatia, namely Digital Nomad Association Croatia, Saltwater Nomads, and Total Croatia News, as well as Anna Maria Kochanska who was enchanted enough by Croatia to continue to be our country’s ambassador even after moving on with her digital nomad journey.

This proves that you don’t get far without collaboration and community spirit, but once a community works together towards a common goal – big things happen!

Since we’re talking about community, Anna Maria will be one of the speakers at the Croatian Nomadbase week – taking place from May 9th to 15th – talking about connecting locals and digital nomads, something we are passionate about as well.

We hope the Nomadbase community will enjoy all that Croatia has to offer; explore our country even beyond their Nomadbase week; attend events like DUMP Days, BlockSplit, Green Future Conference, and our very own Festival of Technology and Entrepreneurship if they decide to extend their stay; and that they will come back again someday! 😀
