Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers to install and configure components of our platform, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining robust monitoring solutions to evaluate the performance and health of our IT ecosystem, focusing on both technical and functional aspects.
• Work closely with development teams to provide support and guidance in optimizing user experiences, including achieving low latency, high service availability, and overall application performance.
• Participate in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and operations tasks, including incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution to ensure system reliability and availability.
• Contribute to the implementation of security policies aimed at fortifying our platforms and maintaining a secure work environment.
• Engage in the deployment of new solutions and products, gaining experience with various technologies in one of the region’s largest IT landscapes.
• Collaborate within a team responsible for managing an Openshift cluster and participate in mentoring junior team members while working with technologies such as ELK stack, Kafka, and more.

You are a good candidate for this position if you have: 

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, including configuring components in complex IT environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for assessing system performance and identifying potential issues.
• Basic understanding of application development processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to enhance application performance.
• Exposure to formulating and implementing security policies for system and data protection.
• Basic proficiency in technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to dynamic challenges, and effective communication abilities.
