…is Piero’s way of doing things, obviously! 😀

Jokes aside, Piero Palevsky is definitely one of the internationals of Split who we don’t even consider an expat anymore – he’s our Piero, a Splićanin. 🙂

From the first Locals’n’Nomads he attended, over the project he did with the youth from Jedna Mladost, to being a panelist for the panel discussion at this year’s Split Tech City Festival, Piero is truly a part of the Split Tech City community.

Therefore, it made perfect sense to talk him into doing a podcast interview with us! 😀

During the interview, we went over numerous different topics. We discussed the fantastic parts of the local tech community and addressed the areas of possible growth. We talked about the famous digital nomad visa, as well as all the ways obtaining it is still a difficult process.

We chatted about the things Piero loves about Split and Croatia – the things that made him stay even despite the bureaucracy.

He shared a bit of his life journey with us, as well as his point of view on tech talent in Split and some other Split-related things. We also spoke about his Croatian favorites – from places to other things. But guess what – we won’t reveal any of the details you can hear during this particular interview.

You’ll simply need to watch the podcast episode we did with Piero to find out more! 😉

Researching is woven into my DNA, but I am a musician at heart. Interested in too many things and always curious. Forever in love with Split and enchanted by people who teach me new things. When I am not creating content about Split's tech community, you will find me in singing rehearsals, somewhere in nature, in the theater, or with my head stuck in a book. I do my best to live by the verse from the opera "Fedora" by Umberto Giordano: "Love forbids you not to love."
