Or, as others would describe him – “Ludi Englez”! Translated from Croatian to English as “Crazy Englishman”, we’d agree with the term “crazy”.
Crazy enough to love this beautiful, but sometimes perplexing country, enough to, not only stay here but keep telling Croatia’s stories to the world. And as far as the “Englishman” part goes – we consider him local because, at this point, he’s as crazy as any Croatian. 😉
We’re talking about none other than Paul Bradbury!
And if you haven’t figured that out from the introduction, it means you have just started Googling Croatia. (What are you waiting for?! Buy that plane ticket!) Otherwise, you’d be more than familiar with the most famous international in this country.
Because of his passion for collecting and telling stories, it was a bit difficult to catch Paul for this interview, but we are immensely happy we managed to do so in the end.
As it is a not-to-be-missed gem! 😀
That is the reason we aren’t going to offer any spoilers in this accompanying overview. We will just tell you that we discussed as many things as we could fit into a podcast episode.
From Paul’s personal life story, over the creation of Total Croatia News, his views on things to improve and things to admire in Croatia, the fabulous “Croatia, a Survival Kit for Foreigners” book (You should get that after booking that plane ticket to Croatia!) he co-authored with Lauren Simmonds, to a #FirecrackerFive quiz about Croatia in the end.
We would like to thank Paul for the generosity of his time and for sharing the tip-of-the-iceberg of his story with us!
As for you – watch the interview. After that, go pack your bags to come to Croatia! 🙂
