How do we prepare children for a world that is changing faster than ever? That is the central question of the Future Minds conference, held under the banner of “redefining education”, taking place on May 22, 2026 at the Split Technology Park.

The conference is organized by Irena Orlović, founder and principal of the first Split international school Harfa, with the ambition of opening space for an honest dialogue about how to prepare children for life — not just for grades.

The stage will bring together some of today’s most compelling names — Slaven Bilić, Ivan Rakitić, and world-renowned Stanford University professor Jo Boaler, alongside a number of domestic experts such as entrepreneur Jan de Jong, Dr. Toni Maglica, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Morana Koludrović, Dr. Ivana Carev, Đordana Barbarić, and others.

Across seven panels, the discussion will cover children’s mental health in the digital age, critical thinking, emotional resilience, the role of parents, and how to prepare children for jobs that do not yet exist. The program is hosted by Marijana Batinić.
