Split Tech City is a community composed of well-intentioned and progressive companies, startups, associations, initiatives, institutions and individuals. Together we encourage and develop the IT sector of Split and the surrounding region.
Support our communityDUMP Association of Young Programmers was formally found in 2010 by young and ambitious students who wanted to learn and to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with their local community.
Through years of hard work, the Association was recognized in the community, mostly for their popular sets of lectures, like School of Programming Basics, which continuously attract more and more attendees.
As the time passed, the members wanted to share as much of their experience as possible with the interested members of the community. The idea of DUMP Internship was born, a several months long program with various lectures and workshops. Throughout the program members of the Association transfer the knowledge gathered through the work on various projects like FESB’s organizational systems and MUP’s new website.
Now the Association has almost 30 members that are interested not only in programming, but also in other areas like design, multimedia and project management. They use and improve all those skills while working on DUMP’s projects like DUMP Days IT conference.
