DUMP Days conference

DUMP, the Association of Young Developers, organizes one of the largest IT conferences in this area – DUMP Days. The conference gathers the best Croatian IT companies, top educators, and talented IT experts, so its schedule is usually full of informative lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and other interesting content.

DUMP Days cover relevant topics about programming, design, marketing, and the world of entrepreneurship. Its mission is to connect students and those interested in IT with some of the most prominent Croatian IT companies and top lecturers by introducing young people to current technologies and the opportunities offered to them in the technological world.

“This year, our primary goal is to bring the business world closer to students who see themselves in the tech sector.

Therefore, we envisioned the conference as an event where representatives of the most prominent Croatian tech companies will meet their future employees in an informal atmosphere and share key knowledge.

In addition to the business side, the DUMP Days conference will introduce students to various opportunities offered by the tech world and thus help them to become competent workers in their areas of interest, said Alex Amanzi, one of the conference organizers.

The potential of the DUMP Days conference has always been recognized by a large number of tech companies in Croatia. So, it does not come as a surprise that they provided assistance and support to the Association in organizing it this year, as well. Extension Engine, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, and Fortuna Entertainment Group stand out, but many other companies also provided their support because all of them are connected by the same desire: to improve the local tech community.

What will DUMP Days look like in 2021?

This year, the DUMP Days conference is back in a new format after a year of hiatus. The event will be held on May 14th and May 15th in a hybrid form: on-site at FESB and online.

Therefore, make sure you do not miss this unique opportunity to take a peek into the tech business world and get an idea of how to launch your career.

Researching is woven into my DNA, but I am a musician at heart. Interested in too many things and always curious. Forever in love with Split and enchanted by people who teach me new things. When I am not creating content about Split's tech community, you will find me in singing rehearsals, somewhere in nature, in the theater, or with my head stuck in a book. I do my best to live by the verse from the opera "Fedora" by Umberto Giordano: "Love forbids you not to love."
