The University Department of Professional Studies of the University of Split is organizing the 6th edition of the international conference Contemporary Issues in Economy and Technology – CIET 2024.

Contemporary Issues in Economy and Technology (CIET) is an international scientific and professional conference organized by the University Department of Professional Studies. It was launched in 2014 and it has been held biannually in Split, except for the 5th edition that was hosted by the partner institution, Florida Universitària from Spain.

The aim of CIET is to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and policymakers from around the world to engage in a collaborative dialogue.

The conference aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and innovations related to the dynamic intersection of economy and technology in the contemporary global landscape.

The key objectives of CIET are:

• knowledge exchange
• interdisciplinary discussions and perspectives
• addressing and analyzing the current challenges faced by economies worldwide
• innovation and entrepreneurship
• policy implications of the evolving relationship between economy and technology

CIET 2024 will take place in Split on June 13 and 14, and will address the following topics:

• Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering
• Innovative Teaching and Learning Methodologies
