We swear that sometimes three Michaels are running around and making things happen in Split and its surroundings! 😀

The first one is an entrepreneur with a passion for social entrepreneurship realizing many great projects with ENSOCO and DonatQR, the second one is a passionate supporter of youth helping the kids from Jedna Mladost realize their potential, and the third one is standing on some stage like that of the Croatian National Theatre or Hrvatski Dom concert hall or EFST lecture hall being the best Master of Ceremonies you have ever seen.

There must be three Michaels! 🙂

In fact, there is only one, but one with superpowers – the one and only Michael Freer.

We could write several articles about Michael’s journey in Split: from moving here, volunteering for Split Tech City in the early days of its English content, to where he is now in terms of his work and life as a – not expat – but local.

We won’t do any of that here.

So, why did we choose Michael to be the face of our Festival’s International Day?

Well, aside from the obvious – being our favorite international Splićanin (and Kaštelanin) – because he’s a mighty fine Master of Ceremonies and panel moderator.

When he’s up on any stage, it seems like he was born to do it. It comes to him so naturally. So – why would we choose anyone else for the role?!
