Support our communityIn the business world, knowledge exchange is the key to success. But how often do professionals get the chance to peek behind the scenes of another company and see firsthand how it operates?
For this very reason, SeekandHit has launched the Employee Exchange Program – an initiative that allows professionals to exchange experiences, business perspectives, and best practices through visits to partner companies. The program began within the DALL Alliance network of leading European digital agencies, and the first exchange was successfully carried out in collaboration with the Danish company Web2Media.
Pilot Project: Three Days at the Danish Web2Media
The first pilot project took place at the beginning of the month when Paula and Nikolina, team leaders in the performance marketing department, along with Ivona, senior performance marketer, visited Web2Media in Denmark.
During the three days, they had the opportunity to participate in structured discussions, workshops, and business process analyses, discovering how different approaches could be applied to their own work.
How Did the Exchange Work?
The exchange program was designed to maximize participants’ time and ensure a quality exchange of knowledge.
The first day focused on internal work organization and business challenges, where both sides compared their working methods and identified similarities and differences in business processes.
The second day was dedicated to clients and projects, with discussions on approaches, processes, and methodologies for working with clients and managing campaigns. The third day involved practical work, where Ivona, alongside their specialists, analyzed Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok accounts, comparing strategies and exchanging best practices.
Key Insights and Impressions
This short but intense exchange provided valuable insights into work organization and confirmed that, although both companies share a similar data-driven approach, operating in different markets presents unique challenges and opportunities.
“It was incredibly useful to look at our processes from a different perspective, see where we can improve our way of working, and exchange knowledge with colleagues from another company. We would definitely love to repeat this format in the future and encourage other companies to initiate similar programs,” shared Nikolina.
From Web2Media’s side, the exchange was also well received: “Exchanging experts provides a fresh view on business processes and contributes to the professional development of everyone involved. In the global business environment, such initiatives are essential for strengthening collaboration and sharing knowledge.”
What’s Next?
Participants agree that this format of exchange – a combination of structured meetings and informal conversations in a work environment – was highly effective. Three days proved to be the optimal duration for gaining key insights, and participants believe that longer exchanges, with joint work on projects, would provide even deeper insights.
For future exchanges, the key advice is openness – honestly sharing challenges and solutions allows for a deeper understanding and more concrete opportunities for improvement.
