12.02.2018.

We are extremely happy to announce the launch of Split Tech City, a non-profit which replaces Startup.hr. As we grow and develop, this platform will be the place to find out everything about the growing and talented tech scene here on the stunning Adriatic coast.

Each week we will be sharing the latest news, events and startups from Split.

We’ll meet the owners of local tech companies, as they explain what they do and how they see the future of the sector.

We’ll hear about the emerging stars and their startups, and what their plans for the future are.

We’ll meet freelancers, employees and students, and we’ll find out how they helped develop the local ecosystem and what they’re doing to get involved.

We’ll catch up with foreigners living in Split and working in the sector including the girls and guys that now call Split their home, who work as freelancers or have started their own company.

Finally, we’ll share our experience about how to move to Split, settle in and start your own business, as we know many of you reading this could potentially be thinking about this!

But first, let’s tell you a bit more about us.

Who are we?

Split Tech City is a non-profit community organisation that aims to bring the tech community together through our platform which also offers news, events, job listings and workshops.

As a non-profit, we have three main goals:

  • To increase and enhance the quality and number of tech professionals, tech companies and startups in Split.
  • To expand the variety of tech professions in Split
  • To improve and develop both local and global relationships in the tech sector

Split has already became a part of Startup City Guide. Now, we want to put Split on a map as a tech hub, both for companies looking to outsource work and for professionals looking to move here, be it temporarily or permanently.

We’re here to give you all the information you need about the tech sector in Split, so if you want to get involved, or if you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

You can also find us on Facebook and on YouTube.
