Organized by the never-tired Student Business Incubator team, the 2024 edition of Hack4Split will be held this weekend and the applications are open for a few more hours.
So – sign up here – because midnight is the deadline!
Let us clear up any confusion for those of you who still need to learn what Hack4Split is all about. This two-day competition is aimed at solving social problems and designing social innovations.
In every edition, Hack4Split brings together individuals with specific knowledge, regardless of education and occupation, who find solutions to problems in their local community, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The competition aims to encourage young people to become active members of their community, to get acquainted with the needs and problems in their community and environment, as well as engage in solving them.
At Hack4Split anyone is welcome, so – prepare your laptops, smartphones, and chargers, because – with a dose of enthusiasm for hard work and learning – you are ready to participate! 🙂
For the very beginning of Hack4Split, a short training session will be held tomorrow at the Faculty of Economics, which will prepare the contestants for the two hackathon days. After that, a pub quiz will be organized just for the competitors, where they will have the opportunity to socialize, meet their teams, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere before the start of the Hack4Split competition on Saturday morning.
On Saturday morning, the contestants will start creating their solutions. The entire day will be filled with creative brainstorming, consultations with mentors from various industries, and hard hackathon-style work. To ensure energy throughout the competition, the organizers got you covered with food and drinks!
Sunday is the final day of Hack4Split, and – before the actual presentations of ideas take place – Pinija Poljaković, the public performance coach will prepare the contestants to deliver their presentations. Hack4Split will conclude with presenting ideas and announcing the best teams who will be awarded over 10 different prizes.
Aside from being an opportunity to create innovative solutions, Hack4Split is also a place where young entrepreneurial minds (like you) get to create long-term friendships and professional connections.
Participation is free, and the experience is priceless. So – click this link and apply! 😀
Be part of the team that will shape the future of our community!
