By now you have a pretty good idea of what to expect during the #InternationalDay of this year’s Festival of Technology and Entrepreneurship. You know everything about the panel discussion that will take place and have been introduced to our three speakers: Omer Chehmer, Prashant Vaz, and Daniel Skoblar.

So, it is time for the cherry on top, so to speak! 😀

The final speaker comes to our sunny Mediterranean Tech Hub straight from the plains of Silicon Valley: meet Suren Markosian!

A serial entrepreneur at heart, Suren has successfully built and scaled several large consumer businesses in Silicon Valley, including Epic! – the largest digital reading platform for kids and CrowdStar, which rose to become one of the largest social gaming companies.

When we asked him to share a little bit of his work history and experience with us, here’s what he chose to highlight:

• Epic! – founded in 2013 and acquired by Byju’s for $500 million in 2021
• CrowdStar – founded in 2008 and acquired by Glu Mobile
• List.am – the largest e-commerce company and online destination in Armenia
• several other smaller startups
• a failed startup with some great lessons learned 🙂

With that kind of experience in the global entrepreneurial community, it was really difficult to narrow down a topic that we liked to hear from Suren during the #STCFestival. As you will probably agree with us – he could talk about a great many things!

However, we had to narrow it down to something, so here’s the lecture title for you: “Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Hard Work”

According to Suren, the lecture he will deliver can be summarized like this: “A journey of building a product used by millions or billions of consumers requires many ingredients. Creativity is one of them!”

The lecture might have creativity in entrepreneurship as its core topic, but we’re sure that all of you sitting in the audience will have many varied questions ready to ask during the Q&A session. We can’t wait to hear them! And Suren’s answers, of course! 😀
