After a break last year, this year’s Women In Tech meetup is back – stronger than ever – on May 29th at the Cardo Hall in the Technology Park Split.

This year, we’re tackling a topic that hits at the heart of the professional challenges women in tech still face every day:

First-hand experiences – from student desks to C-level positions

Through the stories of six women from various areas of the IT industry, attendees will have the chance to hear authentic insights into the obstacles, uncertainties, and inner battles that have shaped their journeys.
Each speaker has a unique story – from early university days to executive leadership – covering a wide range of generational and professional perspectives.

They’ll first present the key barrier they personally had to overcome, followed by a group panel discussion. After the panel, we’ll continue connecting over networking and catering.

What unites them is not just their technical knowledge, but their determination not to accept the limitations that others – or life itself – tried to impose.

The Women In Tech meetup doesn’t offer instant solutions – it offers space for understanding, connection, and support.

That’s exactly why this event has become a place where the lines blur between experience and beginnings, fear and courage, doubt and success.
