KOMBO Festival is just around the corner!

From April 24 to 26, 2025, Split will host Kombo – a festival of visual culture organized by the student association DVK at the Arts Academy in Split.

This year’s theme is *yesterday, today, and tomorrow in design*, summarizing the evolution of human thought, creativity, and the intersection of culture and technology throughout different periods.

The lecture topics are divided by day – the first day focuses on “yesterday,” the second on “today,” and the third on “tomorrow.”

For the past six years, this event has brought together designers from Croatia and the surrounding region.

The goal of the festival is to educate students and all those interested in visual culture and art, with an emphasis on connecting students across the region. The project plays an important role for the city, the local art scene, and raising public awareness of the role and responsibility design holds in society.

The DVK association is dedicated to developing community, art, and visual culture. It began its work in 2018 and currently has around twenty members. Over the years, the association has organized and participated in numerous events, including festivals, exhibitions, and workshops.
