The Science Festival is an event that has been continuously organized in Croatia since 2003, with the goal of bringing science closer to the public by informing them about scientific activities and achievements, improving the public perception of scientists, and motivating young people to explore and acquire new knowledge.

We are born curious— as small children we ask why the sky is blue and the grass is green— and as we grow up, we become productive members of society. Nurturing the desire for knowledge and encouraging our innate curiosity at all stages of life is a meaningful goal that the Science Festival advocates for.

The organizers of the Science Festival are the Universities of Split, Zagreb, Rijeka, Zadar, and Osijek, in collaboration with the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum and the British Council, under the high patronage of the Ministry of Science and Education.
