The Split-based startup EasyLazy develops digital solutions that help tourism and service businesses better manage reservations, space, and time.
The idea for the project emerged from everyday problems in the field – especially during the tourist season, when employees spend a large portion of their working hours on administration and manual reservation management.
“Everything started from that authentic Dalmatian spite. We watched people who, instead of focusing on the guest, spend half of their working time checking schedules or scribbling in reservation books,” says Miljenko Baković, CEO of EasyLazy.

The goal of the platform is to transform physical spaces such as beaches, sports courts, or spa centers into smart digital points of sale, where every square meter and every minute can generate revenue without unnecessary stress and paperwork.
EasyLazy carried out its first major project on one of the most famous Croatian beaches – Zlatni Rat. It was precisely there that the startup tested its system under the highest pressure of guest demand.
We replaced the chaos of sunbed reservations with an elegant digital system. That beginning was our best test, Baković emphasizes.
From that experience, more complex solutions were developed, which are now used in Dalmatian hotels and resorts. The platform enables unified management of various services – from sports court and spa reservations to equipment rental and hospitality services.
The technological backbone of the system lies in cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security.
Users can access the system through a web application developed in the Next.js environment, while a native Android application has been created for field operators.
This approach enables the use of mobile device functionalities essential for outdoor work, while also providing a simple and intuitive user experience for end users.
According to the CEO, Split has increasingly been strengthening its position in recent years as a center for developing its own digital products, rather than just being an outsourcing destination.
More and more authentic stories are emerging that prove we can build products for the global market. The focus is shifting from theory to solving real problems, he says.
EasyLazy currently has around ten team members, including external collaborators, and the company is in an expansion phase, actively seeking new employees.

Working in a technological environment that brings together experts from different fields, they point out, provides a significant advantage due to knowledge exchange and support in product development.
The brand philosophy is also summarized in its name.
“We want the job to be ‘easy’ for those managing the system, and the experience ‘lazy’ – relaxed – for guests using the services,” concludes Baković.
