Last month at Unite&Lead Meetup, we got to hear from Baybars Altuntaş, an entrepreneur and angel investor from Turkey. He shared his life story of how from a very young age he was an entrepreneur, and while at university he started his first successful business. 

Since then, he has developed and scaled his businesses further, been a guest speaker all over the world and appeared on many popular TV shows like Dragons’ Den. He has also published a couple of books about entrepreneurship, including ‘Off the Bus, Into a Supercar’ which goes into further detail about his life story.

We were fortunate enough to grab him to talk with us at the end of the meetup. Since we’d heard all about his life story and encourage you to do the same, we thought we’d get him to share with us what exactly angel investors are, how can companies be investment ready, and ask for some advice or suggestions for any budding entrepreneurs out there.

As you can see in the interview, he’s a very warm and open man, with many stories to share that we can learn from. He is a true entrepreneur and shared his business card with us at the end, telling us that if we had any ideas at all, to get in touch!
