About Tilde Loop

Tilde Loop is a London and Split-based JavaScript consultancy comprised of experienced engineers, specialising in modern application development.

We are looking for key engineering team members with a strong background in JavaScript and Node.js, as well as a thorough understanding of backend development best practices.

We leverage multiple JS frameworks but this position is focusing on Node.js.

As a Node.js Engineer, you will be hands-on developing backend for software products. You will need to be able to work on large-scale and enterprise-level software development projects using technologies such as Node.js, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch and Kafka.

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ commercial experience in Node.js
• Writing Javascript/ES6 applications
• Good understanding of the TypeScript
• Experience in writing unit, integration and performance tests
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Good understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
• Good understanding of the CI/CD
• Interest and ability to learn best practices in software development
• Good communication skills
