Job description
  • Microsoft Windows / MacOS client operating system administration
  • Administration of Office packages and accompanying software for everyday office work
  • Procurement, installation, maintenance and basic service of client computers and IT equipment
  • Basic maintenance of network equipment (setting IP addresses, connecting computers to the network)
  • Preparation of offers and procurement of IT equipment
  • Recording and updating of data on equipment
  • Help with office changes (furniture, etc.)
  • Managing and solving tickets/ticketing system (Zendesk)
  • Ordering and recording data for needed devices for different studies (Medable and other clients)
  • Managing service for IT equipment (ordering service, sending devices, picking them up)
  • Managing and updating application for table and room reservation
  • Collecting electricity data at the end of the moth for all offices
  • Preparation and managing security for IT equipment and network including implementing cyber security testing
  • All other tasks needed for department
Qualifications for IT Specialist
  • Excellent knowledge of MacOS and Windows client platforms
  • Excellent knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent knowledge of hardware components (computers, network equipment)
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols
  • Working knowledge of cyber security best practices; experience with software deployment; implementing third party security applications; remediating identified vulnerabilities: patching / updating solution 
  • Monitoring trends in IT and the ability to find new solutions
  • Continuous learning and improvement
  • Ability to organize independently
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Great interpersonal skills 
  • Active knowledge of English in speech and writing

We are based in two offices: The Croatian office is spread across two offices in Split and US office is based in Cambridge. We’ve been using the 6-hour difference between the two time-zones to our advantage, and over the years, created and perfected a well-defined process for maximizing our teams’ efficiency.

For each clinical study, we create a cross-functional team, with appropriate skills to handle the project size and complexity. We work closely with the client’s project management to identify the appropriate resources and prioritize the work against other concurrent studies.
